Request for Proposals: Archives and Museums programme

India Foundation for the Arts (IFA), in collaboration with the Women of Vaastukala Archive, India, invites applications for IFA-Women of Vaastukala Creative and Scholarly projects, under our Archives and Museums programme.

The programme has a twofold objective: to provide arts practitioners and researchers with an opportunity to generate new, critical and creative approaches for public engagement with archives and museum collections; and to energise these spaces as platforms for dialogue and discourse.

Call for WWF Small Grants Call

WWF-India’s flagship Conservation Catalyst Programme (CCP) supports grassroots conservationists and organisations to conserve wildlife and habitat, and helps awardees become more effective, structured, and empowered.

WWF-India will provide a small grant (up to 6 Lakh INR per year), and also mentor the awardees with communication, networking, institutional, fundraising, and leadership capacities.

Deadline: 22 January 2026

Call for Research proposals_Indian Knowledge Systems

The goal of the IKS division’s research proposals program is to make catalytic grants that help young scientists launch their research and assist established scientists in exploring new research directions or approaches related to IKS. We expect to fund twenty new research proposals in this round of proposal solicitation, subject to the peer review process. The research projects will be provided with a maximum funding support of 20 Lakhs per research project over a period of two years.

Karnataka Science and Technology Promotion Society (KSTePS)

The Government of Karnataka has opened its flagship Vision Group on Science & Technology (VGST) funding call supporting both research excellence and lab infrastructure across the state.

Last date for submissions: 19th January 2026 (5 pm)

Grant schemes and funding:

GRE- 40 lakhs

K-FIST L1/L2: ₹20–30 Lakhs (Infrastructure)
ECRA: ₹10 Lakhs (Age < 40)
FDP: ₹3 Lakhs

Who should apply:

Regular faculty/scientists in Karnataka-based universities, colleges, and R&D centres (Science, Engineering, Medicine).
