The 3-year Undergraduate Program is based on the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF) levels 4, 5, 6 and 7. NSQF is a nationally integrated education and competency based skill framework that provides for multiple pathways for students in each discipline.

The innovations expected of the creative fields to contribute to a globally complex and interconnected future have to be imagined with a deep understanding of the changes brought on by technological and environmental shifts to people and cultures worldwide. Building human intelligence to make creative contributions forms the core of the Bachelor of Design program, where people, cultures, environments and technologies are central to the imaginations and visions of our future-forward courses. We nurture future creative professionals by fostering a spirit of radical innovation and experimentation.

Artistic practice is a mode of expression and a means to addressing the most important issues and concerns of our times. The BFA program at Srishti Manipal nurtures the creative force and artistic curiosity that resides in every individual. It helps in discovering one’s unique artistic self-expression, individual voice and position, to create works that are creative as well as critical. The BFA courses draw from the broad knowledge bases of the visual and performing arts, humanities and design and offer a deep immersion in socio-cultural, political, environmental and other contemporary contexts. They offer a space to learn, experiment and acquire fluency in a chosen medium through combining intuition and the self with craft and practice.

One-year Foundation Studies Program during which students get introduced to a broad interdisciplinary contextual approach towards cultural and critical enquiry as an over arching principle of creative art and design practice. Two-year Studio Based Programs where students may navigate, explore and experience courses offered in various disciplines. One-year Project Based Program which allows for synthesis and consolidation of skills, positions and perspectives.

Applicants should apply to the MA courses if they intend to take up PGDP Finish. There is no separate application form for PGDP Finish; one can exit at the end of year 1 of MA with an award of a PG Diploma upon successful completion of the graduation requirements.

The Postgraduate Program in Design at Srishti Manipal allows graduates and experienced professionals from diverse fields to extend and enhance their design knowledge through inquiry-based practice. The 2 years MDes program covers dimensions that foster the ability to become an independent, self-critical, creative designer.

Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design and Technology, offers a 3 year Doctoral Program in Art, Design and Transdisciplinary Studies The goal of doctoral program at Srishti Manipal is to develop competency in high-quality and rigorous research in art, design and transdisciplinary studies with the view of making original contributions to these disciplines. The program encompasses a range of scholarly research, design, and creative production. It aims to build capacities for design, design education, art and art education that address problems and opportunities of contemporary society and are cognizant of India’s rich tangible and intangible heritage.
