OVERVIEW
Yash has a core in place-based visual art practices that involve working across communities that facilitate cross-pollination of new knowledge systems and experiences for audiences. Enjoys working in collaboration to build valuable processes for multiple stakeholders from academia, artists, designers, activists, researchers and provide the opportunity for aspiring practioners to emerge through this. Formally trained in sculpture, which at the core of his understanding of all creative process across mediums and methods. At SMI, his range of inquiry is at the core of ecology, place-based research that is rooted in art and design thinking and public art.
