WORK EXPERIENCE
Teaching: Udayraj taught Advertisement, Moving Images, Storytelling, Film Appreciation and Production Management
Non- Teaching: Udayraj’s work has largely been in the industry since 2009 – Feature Film as Assistant Director, Executive in Advertisement, Video Production Specialist for corporates, Line Production for independent Filmmakers, Documentary Editor, Corporate Filmmaker and Promotional Video producer and a freelance writer

TEACHING PORTFOLIO
Udayraj P J largely teaches Narratives for the screen for BFA students @SMI. He also teaches Advanced Writing, Screenplay writing, Editing, Direction and Digital Making for UG Students and Reading Film for PG students.
CREATIVE PRACTICE & OUTREACH
Udayraj P J’s work lies at the intersection of Folk arts and Cinema. His films explore the translation and adaptation of Folk lore into the visual medium of Cinema. His most recent work in the this line of inquiry is “Katu Pootha Malay”, premiered in Moscow International Film Festival.
