OVERVIEW
Swaroop is a film educator, an academician, a cinema professional and a trained Indian classical vocalist. He is an alumnus of FTII, Pune. In an extensive career as an independent professional in films and media for 10 years, he has worked with many established and award-winning filmmakers across India and world-over. He has held positions of academic mentorship for various assignments at Johns Hopkins university, USA ; Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune and Srishti Manipal Institute, Bengaluru.
As a learned vocalist of Hindustani Khayal form of music, he has given independent private concert performances as well as accompanied eminent artists on prestigious music platforms such as ‘Sawai Gandharv Music festival’, ‘Taansen samaroh’.
