AT A GLANCE

Jatin Gulati

Area of Practice:  Contemporary Photo Narratives; Lens-based Practice; Archive Building, Curation and Writings on Photography

OVERVIEW

Jatin (b. 1992 / Haryana) is an architect turned visual artist. While indulging in making counter-documents and alternative archives, his practice is informed by a repository of media and material in the public sphere. Graduated in photography from Pathshala South Asian Media Institute, Dhaka, his interest in photography stems from the role of images as myth-making of socio-political and familial ideologies. He works at the intersection of mediums such as photographs, text and drawing.
