AT A GLANCE
Harshad Marathe
Area of Practice:
OVERVIEW
I am an illustrator, storyteller and book cover designer. In my opinion, if my work doesn’t surprise me, it won’t surprise anybody. I’m drawn to work that carries meaning that is beyond the obvious, the literary, or the intellectual. I want my images to tell layered, complex stories. I like bending and breaking rules and taking risks with design. My approach to teaching is direct, sincere and non-cerebral.
