OVERVIEW
I am a dedicated architect, furniture designer, and artist with a passion for merging aesthetics and functionality in my work. With a bachelor’s degree in fine arts, I have developed a unique approach to design, emphasizing the integration of art, craft, and sustainability. I inspire the next generation of designers to create innovative and environmentally conscious spaces. In my teaching, I place a strong emphasis on holistic design thinking, encouraging students to consider the broader impact of their work on the environment and society. My classes are dynamic and interactive, blending theoretical knowledge with practical application. I teach my students to design spaces that are not only beautiful and functional but also sustainable. My curriculum includes lessons on sustainable materials, low-waste design practices, and the importance of environmental stewardship in architecture and furniture design. I believe that every design choice can contribute to a more sustainable future, and I strive to instill this belief in my students. As a nature lover and advocate of a low-waste lifestyle, I practice what I preach. I incorporate eco-friendly practices into my daily life and my design work, striving to minimize waste and maximize resource efficiency. My personal commitment to sustainability is reflected in my teaching, as I encourage students to adopt similar practices and consider the lifecycle of the materials they use. Beyond the classroom, I continue to push the boundaries of design through my own work. I create bespoke furniture pieces that are both functional and artistic, often using reclaimed or sustainable materials. My artistic background informs my design process, allowing me to create pieces that are not only practical but also visually striking and meaningful. As a visionary educator and designer, I am dedicated to fostering a new generation of environmentally conscious and innovative designers.
