Tejaswini Bedekar is a craft-focused designer and educator exploring the dialogue between craft traditions, interior spaces, and material culture. She holds a Master of Design with a specialization in Building Crafts from CEPT University, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Design in Interior Design from Shivaji University. She is currently pursuing her PhD from SMI.
Tejaswini has over eight years of experience in teaching and professional practice, working with the interior design industry as well as educational institutions. She is deeply passionate about craft and enjoys collaborating with artisans, constantly exploring how traditional practices can inform contemporary design. Through her teaching and research, she strives to inspire young minds to question existing design norms and discover new ways to integrate craft into spatial and material practices.

Currently, Tejaswini works as an independent interior design consultant, while also pursuing her practice as a craft researcher and educator. Her creative work focuses on documenting traditional craft practices. In addition, she is part of Craft Collective, an emerging initiative that brings together individuals engaged in crafts, whether through practice, research, or as part of the broader craft ecosystem.
