Faculty Spotlight – Sudebi Thakurata

Sudebi Thakurata, an Associate Professor  and Head of PGDP Programme, was recently invited as a Visiting Scholar to LUCA School of Arts, Belgium to initiate a brand new Masters Program, Response-Able Futures with a workshop on Intercultural Meaning Making. Response_Able Futures is an Erasmus Mundus Joint Master’s programme offered by the LUCA School of Arts (Belgium), the University of Aveiro (Portugal), and Sheffield Hallam University (United Kingdom). The programme is dedicated to innovating design education and research within the health and care field. As part of their commitment to this mission, they are inviting scholars, thinkers and researchers to contribute to the programme. 

Sudebi was also invited by Breda University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands at their Urban Life & Placemaking Programme to facilitate their Intro week on place- based cases for students of Leisure and Events and Inclusive Placemaking.
