OVERVIEW
Anjali Sakleshpur is currently a facilitator at Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, design and Technology, Bengaluru. She has specialised in Printmaking(BFA) and Art History and Visual studies(MFA) from Chamarajendra Government College of Fine Arts(CAVA), Mysuru and Sarojini Naidu School of Art and Communication, University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad.
She has worked as a volunteer for the NGO, Make a Difference from 2012 – 2015 where she taught English, headed the collaterals team for fundraisers and trained the new volunteers while helping setting up Dream camps for the underprivileged children.
She has been a part of group art shows with her work named ‘Personal Heritage’. During her Post Graduation, her thesis dealt with understanding the role of Visual Culture in holding the community intact keeping wedding ceremonies in the centre.
Her personal research is based on exploring the components that direct/dictate the culture of the society through the phases of life seen in the Indian context.
