Mini is a special educator with 30+ years of experience in education. She is the founder and former Head of Therapies at Cord Edu a center (CORD ) for children and adults with special needs. She has worked as a resource person and conducted multiple workshops on Inclusive education practices, special needs identification, and techniques, classroom management, understanding disabilities, behavior modification therapies, and counseling parents and children with special needs. She has experience working as a consultant and Teacher with schools in Bangalore, MP, and Delhi. She is a resource person for NGOs, Orphanages in Bangalore for addressing parents and educators on special education needs, emotional needs, and managing children at home with special needs. She has worked as a mentor at Creative Arts Teaching Institute as a part of practical engagement. She has a master’s degree in special education needs and is a trained behavior modification therapist. She has counseled in Sneha Counselling Centre, Bangalore. She is enthusiastic about creating a safe, stimulating, and supportive learning environment for students that provides a scope to express their needs. She believes to work with pupils in creative practice with special needs you must engage with multiple materials and techniques to meet the individual needs of the student. She plans intervention with learning support techniques that support skills for teaching and learning creative practices like ideation, communication, problem-solving, and time management.
