Language Arts at Srishti is a vibrant space that brings together several languages, cultures and literacies. The Language Arts department will offer courses that help effective communication and draw attention to the processes that people use everyday to listen, understand and share. Languages, Indian and international, including Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, French, Spanish, Russian and Chinese will be taught to support the core curriculum. The structure of languages will be emphasized along with conversational tools and this will be done through practical methods including making and group discussions as well as reading. Language is an important tool for thinkers, makers and innovators and it is our aim to train students to function effectively and take advantage of multiple opportunities in the contemporary global environment.
