Vision
Students who take the Finish program experience a significant transformation in their creative capabilities and position making: they are confident and prepared to enter both professional and academic practices in the art and design fields. Many new careers have emerged today which prize design thinking and creative and artistic expression.
The Post Graduate Diploma Program, Finish helps students to extend and consolidate learning from an Undergraduate program that touched on professional skills in the creative or design sectors such as Animation, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Textile Design, Design in Education or others. Students will get the opportunity to build on their knowledge and skills through a year spent on focused practice, mentored by qualified professionals with considerable practical and professional experience.
After their time at Srishti, students will be able to look at new professions and careers in a range of creative sectors where skilled professionals are in short supply.
Course Structure
The course allows you to build a creative practice based on previous education and experiences. Taught over two semesters, this one-year graduate level program is designed to fulfill the standards set by Level 8 of the National Skills Qualification Framework (NSQF).

Opportunities
After successful completion of this one year program,
- Students could join the second year of the Master of Arts program in the pathway they completed.
- A student could begin work as a creative professional in companies/ad agencies/design houses/production studios etc.
- Practice as an independent artist or designer.

Students choosing the Finish program need to have an Undergraduate degree that touched on professional skills in the creative or design sectors such as Animation, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Textile Design, etc. These students will get an opportunity to extend and consolidate their learning through a year spent on focused practice, mentored by qualified professionals with considerable practical and professional experience. Whereas students joining Bridge can come from an undergraduate education from a non art and design field.
The year in the Finish program will be an immersive experience that will build skills of design and creative thinking, self position, project management, team work etc.
Srishti Manipal follows a continuous grading system. Each unit that you are enrolled into will be assessed. You will be expected to participate in a design challenge at the end of the year that will act as a practical examination and may also be required to produce a written paper that reflects theoretical understanding.
After completeing the Finish program at Srishti Manipal, students will be able to look at new professions and careers in a range of creative sectors where skilled professionals are in short supply. Students can also apply to the second year of M.A in the same pathway as the PGDP year.
