Work experience

 

 

  • Founder of Studio.ClockWorks, a studio bringing together the most celebrated classic games and the latest contemporary tabletop games to put them out in the public for community building initiatives
  • Has extensively researched and documented the Indigenous Textile traditions of the North East on a project with IGNCA, New Delhi
  • Made a short documentary “Hide Under My Sole” on traditional Punjabi footwear under a grant from Ford Foundation
  • Has made short documentaries on sustainability and mountain communities with ICIMOD, Nepal and some NGO’s
  • Facilitated and conducted game workshops for schools, colleges and independent organizations. These include National Institute of Design (NID), The Doon School (Dehradun), Pearl Academy, Nirma University, The Riverside School, The Design Village, Footwear Development and Design Institute (FDDI), University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES)

Interest Areas

reviving the culture of playing tabletop games -both traditional and contemporary; Indian crafts and textiles

Current Practice at Srishti

Elements of game design, history of traditional & modern tabletop games, introduction to game mechanics, basic & digital prototyping, playtesting games, basic Tablet Weaving

Creative Practice and Outreach

Interested in exploring and exploiting the politics of play and creating meaningful public spaces with intent and content that has a recreational value for the participants
