Overview

Illustration is one of the oldest art-form to visualize ideas and communicate complex information. The Illustration pathway in the Graphic Arts and Design Program, contextualises image making with real world commercial usage, emerging trends in global illustration practices and cutting edge technological developments. The Illustration program has been designed with inputs from industry experts and works in close proximity with industry leaders & creative professionals, both as collaborators for an extended period of Work Based Learning, as well as constantly updating the curriculum based on changing industry needs and trends. This institutional - industrial synergy is at the core of the curriculum. Apart from sessions where hands on skills and techniques are imparted to the students, we also have periodic simulations and exposure to commercial real world creative briefs, industry practice and production systems.
