Work Experience

• edited films, TV shows, music videos and documentaries.

• Was one of the directors for shows like MAD and FAQ in POGO and was a creative director for television shows.

• Directed and edited a feature film ‘lessons in forgetting’ in 2012 and a short film ‘veena and ukulele’ in 2021 besides a couple of music videos.

• as a guest faculty, have been teaching scriptwriting and film appreciation

• received a national award for film editing in 1999

• received a national award for best film in English language in 2012.

• Best feature film for ‘lessons in forgetting at river to river indian film festival, Florence 2013

• Best director for ‘veena and ukulele’ at OIFFA 2021

• Best film for ‘veena and ukulele’ at the 10th ritwik ghatak honorary award at Rajshahi, Bangladesh 2021
